On-going Projects in HAITI
Mission Home: We provide a safe and uplifting environment for our volunteers and other humanitarian groups as they come to serve the people of Haiti. In addition, we provide jobs to a staff of approximately 6 full-time individuals that would not be employed otherwise.

Volunteer trips: We facilitate volunteers in performing humanitarian work in third-world countries. We are proud of our high quality “mission trips” The projects themselves are fluid and consistent. Because of our long time presence “on the ground” in Haiti, we are able to provide more effective projects than the “in and out” organizations.
Vegetable Program: With the influx of many larger organizations, obtaining the staples of rice and beans is more viable than ever before. Working in the orphanages on a regular basis gives us an up-close and personal knowledge of the children’s needs. Although the children’s tummies are adequately full, they are still lacking in the all important nutrients obtained from fresh vegetables. We are teaching nutrition classes to the care givers and to the children. We are then aiming at regular and consistent deliveries of fresh vegetables to the cooks of the orphanages.
Facilitation of individual or group projects: Often, our volunteers want to continue helping! Most often they need some amount of help and guidance. We advocate this! We strive to facilitate and help with getting the logistics fine tuned. This can come in the form as simple as a group using the Mission House all the way to planning and implementing a whole trip and project.

Mobile Learning Center (MLC)
Our most exciting project so far! The MLC stated simply is a “school on wheels”. We are loading our specially equipped trucks with books, projectors, activities and computer stations allowing the children to begin exploring their world! We go to participating orphanages three times a week to enhance any traditional education that is already in place. And, with their very own library cards, the children begin a life of discovery.
